Renew Onboarding
The term "Renew Onboarding" refers to a crucial process in our system aimed at re-onboarding guest users.
In this section, we will delve into the concept of Renew Onboarding, its objectives, and the specific scenarios that call for its implementation.
The primary objective of "Renew Onboarding" is to ensure that the guest users, remain informed about and aligned with the most up-to-date information and resources made available by the company. This is accomplished through a deliberate and structured renewal process that reaffirms their understanding and agreement with the latest updates from the company.
Scenarios for Renew Onboarding:
Modifications to Metafields or Media: When administrator make changes to Metafields or Media, it is important to propagate these changes to the guest users. Renew Onboarding allows for the application of these modifications to ensure users are working with the most current information.
NOTE: Before any changes were made in the Metafields or media, the buttons themselves became unclickable:
Pressing the "Renew Onboarding Process" button triggers sending an email notification to external users when there have been changes to important documents, signaling the need to renew their onboarding.
Keep track of the Renew Onboarding progress, and if the auto-delete toggle is enabled, external users who do not complete the Renew Onboarding process within the specified time (X days) will be automatically removed from the team.
This completes the functionality of the ‘Renew Onboarding’ in the External User Manager.
