Troubleshooting

The Add-In model is quite complicated to setup, so the errors can be a lot. From our experience start troubleshooting with:

  • CM Template Site
  • Open IIS Site manually
  • Recreate Trust
  • Run "iisreset /noforce" on each SharePoint Server
  • SPTrusted Token
  • ULS Log
  • Make sure the user who's adding the App is member of local administrators group on SharePoint WFE. Makes sure he's a direct member, group memberships are not supported by Microsoft.
  • Clear the Browser Cache
